MyAccount has many features that help customers manage their electric and water usage. One way is by setting up an automatic water leak alert. There are two types of alerts are available and both are activated when the alert is created.
1.Continuous leak alert – AMI data indicates that there has been continuous water usage over the past 24 hours
2.Intermittent leak alert – AMI data indicates that there has been higher than normal water usage over the past 24 hours
Once an alert is created, MyAccount sends the user an email or text or both as soon as the day after either of the above conditions occur. If you haven’t signed up for MyAccount or to log in simply click the “MyAccount” link at the top right side of the utility website front page. Once in click the “Alert” button to create and edit your alerts.
