We have several convenient methods for you to pay your utility bill.
Pay Online
Pay online at myaccount.hartfordutilities.org or select the MyAccount link in the top right within our website.
Some advantages of creating a MyAccount are:
- Can view monthly bill online
- Sign up for ebills to recieve your monthly bill with an email notification
- Can pay Credit/Debit online through Payment Services Network (fee will apply)
- Can monitor monthly usage and create usage notifications
After creating an account, select "VIEW/PAY BILL" to make payments online.
Automatic Payment
Payments can also be made by automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account. To use this method, call our office at 262-673-8212 or download the Automatic Payment Plan Agreement (PDF) form and return it to us.
Some advantages to using direct automatic payment are:
- Helps avoid late or missed payments
- No need to write checks
- No postage costs
- Transfers funds safely, securely and directly from your account
When enrolled in this convenient service, you will continue to receive a statement at the beginning of each month detailing the amount to be debited from your savings or checking account on the due date, the 20th of each month.
PLEASE NOTE: You must attach a voided check or savings verification documentation to ensure accurate processing.

Please include the payment stub of the bill to ensure that your account is properly credited.
Pay by Phone
To pay by phone, call 877-885-7968. Please have your bill available so you can provide your account number.
*Convenience fees apply for credit/debit card payments: $4.40 for each transaction up to $500.
Pay in Person
During normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:15 pm) customers can make payments at our billing office on the second floor of 109 N. Main Street. Elevator access is at the rear entrance to City Hall, off of N. Johnson Street.
After business hours, payments can be dropped off in the utility drop box located inside the front entrance of City Hall, in the Police Department lobby, open 24 hours a day.

*All payments made at other payment locations are required to have a utility bill payment slip. If you have signed up for paperless billing, you may print a copy of your bill within your MyAccount.
